Rick Stein’s Padstow restaurant is one of the best places to try fresh, simple seafood. Much of the menu is landed right on the doorstep, with the option of a set lunch during the day. If you visit on the spur of the moment, sit at the Seafood Bar and order from the a la carte menu.
Holding two Michelin stars and four AA rosettes, Port Isaac’s Restaurant Nathan Outlaw is the well-known chef’s flagship establishment. A seafood tasting menu is offered for both dinner and lunch, and features local, seasonal produce. The restaurant itself is small and intimate, so do book ahead.
