Our properties on the Duchy’s historic Restormel estate provide enormous variety. To the south are the Clay Trails – a network of tracks passing through heathland and over hills around the old clay pits of St Austell.

Lanhydrock is a 30-minute cycle to the north. Here, you will find green, blue and red off-road tracks through the woodland on the National Trust estate. Past Lanhydrock is Cardinham Woods, a 12-kilometre blue trail known as the Bodmin Beast, which weaves through the forested valley. Two red routes loop off the main path for the more experienced cyclist.

If you'd like to cycle the countryside at a leisurely pace, taking in the scenic surroundings, you'll enjoy our Loskeyle and Wadebridge cottages in Cornwall. Our Loskeyle and Wadebridge cottages are located along the Camel Cycle Trail – a scenic route that follows the Camel River from Bodmin to Padstow. Local bike hire companies near Loskeyle will deliver to our cottages at no extra cost.
