We have picked our top four favourite places to walk this autumn.
Owned by the Duchy of Cornwall, Ladock Woods is just outside Truro. There are a number of woodland trails and a 2.5km circular walk.
There is a free car park and it is dog-friendly, but please pick up any dog mess.

A lovely circular walk within the historic parkland of the Lanhydrock Estate. It is dog friendly and there is a large car park. The walk takes around one and a half hours.

A beautiful wooded valley located in mid-Cornwall, it was designated as part of the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site in 2006.
Free parking at the Black Hill Luxulyan Valley car park, with a variety of walks that can either take you up and over the Treffry Viaduct or underneath.

The Cheesewring (a granite tor) can be found close to the north of the village of Minions on the south side of Bodmin Moor. There are two car parks, with well worn paths that head north from the car park.
Dogs need to be on short leads because of moorland livestock.
