Dairy House, encompassing the manor’s west wing, is a beautiful and spacious holiday home enjoying far-reaching views over the surrounding countryside. Full of character, it’s a firm favourite with our guests who love the tranquillity and comfort of a beautifully-refurbished base from which to explore Cornwall.

LIVING

The sitting room is perfect for serious relaxation, with comfortable sofas, a large wood-burning stove in a granite fireplace and well-stocked bookcases. Here you’ll find a TV, DVD player, Roberts Radio, books and board games. A separate former game larder is available to use as a study.

EATING

Dairy House has a large and well-equipped kitchen with an electric range cooker with double ovens and ceramic hob, an American-style larder fridge freezer, a dishwasher and a wide selection of cookware, crockery and glassware. A large table for six is perfect for informal dining.

SLEEPING

There are three bedrooms, all located on the first floor. The staircase is fairly narrow and steep and may not be suitable for guests who may have mobility issues.

The main bedroom enjoys views to the front of Dairy House and has a super king bed, a TV and an en-suite bathroom. There is also a twin bedroom with an en-suite shower room and a double bedroom with a king size bed that offers views over the River Fowey. Our beds are all wonderfully comfortable and you can savour the finest Egyptian cotton bed linen at the end of an enjoyable day.

BATHING

The en-suite bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower, while both the en-suite bathroom and family bathroom each has a wash basin and WC. There is also an en-suite shower room leading from the twin bedroom.

GARDEN

Dairy House has a private paved terrace area to the side of the property and a garden extends beyond, providing ample space to relax. Garden furniture and a barbecue are provided.

LEISURE

Dairy House has full access to the extensive leisure facilities at Restormel Manor including an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, children's play area, tennis court and games room.

Dairy House is located in the idyllic Fowey Valley, only one mile from Lostwithiel and within easy reach of Cornwall's south coast.

A short walk through the surrounding Restormel woodland will take you to Duchy Nursery: a popular local spot with a fantastic café, shop and plant selection.
