Restormel Cottage is approximately 400 years old and was formerly an entrance lodge to Restormel Manor Estate. The cottage has been sensitively refurbished to retain its traditional character, creating an elegant and comfortable base for your holiday.
A comfortable and stylish sitting room with an open fireplace and well-stocked built-in bookcases awaits. Restormel Cottage has high-quality soft furnishings, a TV, DVD player, Roberts Radio and board games.
Restormel Cottage has a lovely dining room, perfect for unwinding after a day exploring Cornwall. A glazed door leads directly to the courtyard garden.
The traditional slate-flagged kitchen has been equipped with dishwasher, fridge freezer, induction hob, electric double oven and a wide selection of modern cookware, crockery, glassware and cookbooks. A washing machine and dryer are located in a separate outhouse.
There are three bedrooms, all located on the first floor: one double with king size bed and an en-suite shower room, one twin and one single bedroom. The master bedroom has a metal bedstead and overlooks the beautiful wooded Fowey Valley. All of our bedrooms have comfortable beds with Egyptian cotton bed linen.
There is a well-equipped family bathroom on the first floor with a bath with overhead shower and WC. The bathroom and en-suite shower room have heated towel rails and recessed lighting.
The garden surrounding Restormel Cottage is securely fenced to the side and rear and there is off-road parking for two cars. A private courtyard garden to the rear of the cottage has wooden garden furniture and is a perfect suntrap for a summer barbecue.
As a guest staying in Restormel Cottage, you will have full access to the extensive leisure facilities at Restormel Manor, including an indoor heated swimming pool,sauna, children’s play area, tennis court and games room.
Restormel Cottage is ideal for dogs and you are very welcome to bring up to two dogs during your holiday at a cost of £35 per dog per week.

Restormel Cottage is located in the tranquil countryside of the Fowey Valley, a short walk from Restormel Manor and only one mile from the attractive medieval town of Lostwithiel with its quirky collection of independent shops, pubs and restaurants.
The cottage is one of our most popular properties, including use of the indoor swimming pool and leisure facilities at Restormel Manor, while also being close to Duchy Nursery with its fantastic café, shop and plants.
A perfect retreat, it is surrounded by extensive woodland walks, close to Cornwall’s beautiful south coast and within easy travel distance of the rugged north coast.
